Hello everyone

Sorry it's been a while, it has been very hectic around here with school holidays, twins birthday and sickness. I had a fun time making a treasure chest cake and a fairy mushroom house cake for the twins birthday which zapped all of me creativity for a while but now I am back on track.

I had a lovely time in Perth last weekend (apart from trip to hospital with children). I attended Perth StampinUP! regionals all day Saturday which was fantastic. I was very inspired and came back with some great tips and new ideas I am currently trying out (stayed tuned for classes). I then went to the Swan Lake Ballet with my Mum and sister on the Sunday. That was beautiful and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. I haven't been to a Ballet for sooo long but I am sure with 3 girls there will be plenty more ballet concerts in the future.

Anywayback to the card. This is the Birthday card I made for 1 of the girls I just LOVE this train stamp set currently in the Spring mini. I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it and was determined to make it girly, does it pass. Little miss loved it. Remember there is only 1 month left of the Spring Mini so if you would like to purchase this stamp set and matching wheel or anything else from the Spring Mini please email me on elp@bigpond.net.au . Talking of mini's I have just received the Summer mini in the mail today, OH you are going to LOVE this one. My wish list is VERY BIG and expensive but I just NEED everything!!! If you would like a copy of the Summer mini just email me to let me know and I will post one to you early December.
Take care.

21st birthday card

Hello everyone,

Hope you are enjoying my blog. This is a card I did for a friends 21st birthday a couple of months ago. The photo hasn't turned out the best because the base card is chocolate chip (my favourite colour) and so is my table cloth. It is funny how the colours in my house and very close to StampinUP! colours. In fact we are currently building a house and I keep telling my husband that I want an Old Olive, Kraft theme going in the kitchen living area and he doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about but my stamping buddies do. Anyway this is a waterfall card (I just love the WOW factor of these). I used 1 of the new filigree designer bards to attach the ribbon and choc chip fine supernova glitter to highlight the tempting turquoise flower element. I must admit since I have brought the fine supernova glitter I have used it lots and lots. I am not usually a glitter bling person but this pack has 5 small jars of different colours so you have a colour that goes with everything and because it is fine it is fantastic for just a little highlight. Quite often I will make a card but it is just lacking a little something so I add a little fine supernova glitter with the two-way glue pen and it looks a million times better. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.
Supplies: Chocolate chip, creamy caramel, temping turquoise and whisper white card stock.
Choc chip, tempting turquoise, creamy caramel and black stazon ink.
Tempting turquoise grosgrain ribbon, Filigree designer brads, chocolate chip fine supernova
Baroque Motifs stamp set

Pink Birthday bling

This is a birthday card I did for a birthday party my eldest daughter was going to. Again using the Great Friend stamp set from the Summer mini. I had a lot of fun doing this card and loved the way it turned out so much that I did it for a children birthday card swap I took part in with other Demo's in Albany. The bling is fine supernova pink and dazzling diamonds in Idea book and catalogue. Also used Birthday Wish and Gallery (summer mini) , and Always (ib&c). Hope you like it.

Beautiful card for a beautiful friend

This is a card I did for my wonderful friend Megan for her birthday (in August I just haven't had a chance to post it). She is not only a good friend but my awesome upline so this card HAD to be special. I spent a whole evening on it to get it just right, Graeme commented on the amount of time taken but when I told him it was for Megan he just said Oh I understand now. Anyway I have just fallen in love with the Good Friend stamp set from the Spring mini, it is so beautiful and can be used for many different themes. And I must admit I am also loving the Parisian Breeze speciality dsp also in the Spring mini, the colours are really lovely together. Hope you like it.

Waterfall birthday card

Ok so here goes the first picture... This is a birthday card I made for my beautiful sister recently, she is really special to me so she deserves a special card. This is a waterfall card, I love the way you can hide a message/messages so the receiver gets a lovely surprise, you just pull the ribbon and be wowed (if you would like to learn how to create this beautiful waterfall card contact me to find out class times). I used some of my fav colours old olive, chocolate chip and very vanilla, and also one of my favourite stamp sets Priceless with it's co-ordinating wheel So Swirly and God's blessings for the words. Hope you like it.
